When Sharon Aharoni introduced her recent juice bar, she knew she was onto a winner but she didn’t expect to strike gold. The Blackburn Market food court trader was awarded a gold at a recent awards ceremony at Blakeys Bar organised by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. The awards are linked to the Government’s Food Hygiene Rating Scheme and celebrate food businesses that have high standards in hygiene, trading standards legislation and healthier menu options.
