Artistic creations makeup and hair will be showcased on Blackburn Market later this month, when students from Blackburn College begin a series of monthly demonstrations.
The team from the Media Makeup course level 2 and course level 3 have chosen an ‘Under the Sea’ theme for the first event which takes place from 10 am on Friday 16th May. Course lecturer and freelance makeup artist, Ruth Moulden explains, ‘the market provides the perfect opportunity for the students to gain hands on practical experience in a busy, vibrant public space.’
Make up and hair demonstrations will take place in Blackburn Market on Friday 16th May, Friday 6 June, Friday 4 July, Friday 5 September, Saturday 13 September, Friday 3 October, Friday 28 November.
