A speciality cheese stall in Blackburn Market has opened in time for Christmas with an incredible selection available.
Cat and Mouse Cheese offers a wide range of locally sourced cheeses, as well as authentic continental cheese from France and Spain.
Stall owner, Jackie Swan, 51, said: “As a cheese lover, we’re passionate about showcasing new and exciting products. It’s been amazing experimenting with new tastes and textures.”
“We’re thrilled about joining Blackburn Market, we know we can thrive here. We’ve been open for three weeks, and I am already thinking of how we can expand the business.”
Jackie certainly has something for everyone. From traditional Lancashire Creamy, to the unconventional Wensleydale Chocolate Orange, you’ll ‘brie’ very impressed!
Jackie is now taking cheese board orders for the Christmas season. Customers can design their own boards, choosing from the wide selection of cheese and crackers, or let Jackie choose from her favourites.
Orders for Christmas cheese boards should be placed by Sunday 10th December with a deposit of £10 for orders between £10 and £30, and a £20 deposit for orders over £30. Order forms are available from the stall.
Cat and Mouse Cheese is open Monday to Saturday, 8.30am – 5pm in Blackburn Market.
