King George’s Hall was transformed into a scene from the roaring 20s on Saturday 18th March as retailers and staff from The Mall Blackburn and Blackburn Market donned their best Great Gatsby fancy dress to celebrate the shopping centre’s Annual Retailer Awards.
Best Market Trader was awarded to T C K Deli.
TCK Deli is one of the most popular food outlets on the market, with people queuing round the block for their exquisite food. Owned by Adam Bhad, they pride themselves with offering high quality, authentic Asian food with the convenience of a deli service.
Here you can find curries, samosas, pakoras, kebabs, chapattis to eat in or takeaway. They also serve a range of paninis, wraps, pasta and lasagne.
The deli offers a unique standard of service for any customer calling at the stall. They use the freshest ingredients available, for dishes that are specially blended and mastered by their very own renowned chefs.
Conveniently located by the communal dining area you can either eat in or take out – either way it’s just as delicious!
Also at the awards, David Wilcock, who is the fifth generation of his family to trade on Blackburn Market, was given an award for demonstrating passion for Blackburn after launching Tex Mex food stall Hugo Burrito in November 2016.
