Senior Citizens visiting Blackburn Market this Easter are invited to enjoy a range of special offers as part of the royal visit to the town on Maundy Thursday. On Thursday 17 April the Queen will attend a special service to give small gifts of ‘alms’ of special coins and money to 88 male and 88 female pensioners, one for each year of her age.
The offers are open between the 14th and 26th of April and include:
- 15% off a meal with a drink from Butler’s Café’ or Spindles Diner
- Free cake with every tea or coffee at Aharonis
- Free drink with every sandwich at Wellbread
- 10% off pick ‘n’ mix sweets from Sugar Rush
Commercial Manager, David Smith said, ‘We are very excited about the Queen’s visit to Blackburn and this is our opportunity to give something back to our older, loyal customers.’
